(yes country, not just the continents) inlaid with one of over 20 different,
highly polished, semiprecious stones. Even a small gemstone globe can take
many man-hours to painstakingly inlay, assemble and polish. Some of the
strikingly different stones used are Amethyst, Jade, Mother-of-Pearl, Lapis
Lazuli, Tigereye, Green Agate, Abalone, Red Jasper, Rhodonite, Snow Flake,
Turquerentine, Unakite, and Picture Jasper.
(These jewelers quality gemstone globes are also available for the same
price with oceans and base in black onyx, rather than the blue lapis shown.
There is also limited availability with oceans and base in Red Jasper,
turquoise, or green.)
