with gold. These magnificent handmade gemstone globes are created with
each country (yes country, not just the continents) inlaid with one of
over 20 different, highly polished, semiprecious stones. Even just a medium-sized
gemstone globe can take over 1000 man-hours to produce. Some of the strikingly
different stones used are Amethyst, Jade, Mother-of-Pearl, Lapis Lazuli,
Tigereye, Green Agate, Abalone, Red Jasper, Rhodonite, Snow Flake, Turquerentine,
Unakite, and Picture Jasper.
(These jewelers quality gemstone globes are also available for the same
price with oceans and bookends in black onyx, rather than the blue lapis
shown. There is also limited availability with oceans and bookends in red
jasper, turquoise, green, or purple. These bookends are also available
