These magnificent jewelers quality handmade gemstone globes are created
with each country (yes country, not just the continents) inlaid with one
of over 20 different, highly polished, semiprecious stones. Even a small-sized
gemstone globe can take many man-hours to inlay and polish. Some of the
strikingly different stones used are Amethyst, Jade, Mother-of-Pearl, Lapis,
Tigereye, Green Agate, Abalone, Red Jasper, Rhodonite, Snow Flake, Turquerentine,
Unakite, and Picture Jasper. These unique art pieces are available in sizes
from 110 mm (just over 4") in diameter to 840 mm (just over 33") in diameter.
(When people talk about something being the focal point in a room, imagine
a floor-standing gemstone globe of semiprecious stones almost the width
of a yardstick!)
