the Mitsubishi Diamond II, the T-1A is a version of the Model 400 Beechjet.
To compete for the major USAF competition for a new Tanker-Transport Training
System, Beech teamed with McDonnell Douglas and FlightSafety International
to offer the Beechjet. The T-1A was powered by two Pratt & Whitney
Canada 2,900 lb. thrust turbofans, with a maximum speed at 29,000 ft of
531 mph, ceiling of 45,000 ft, and range of 2,222 miles with four passengers.. |
