| The
Curtiss P-40 was the first fighter flown in action against the Japanese
forces in Burma before the official U. S entry into WW II. "Tex" Hill was
one of the very first to volunteer to fly and fight with the American Volunteer
Group (Flying Tigers). While serving with the group, he was nationalized
back into the USAAC. He went on to serve two tours in China, emerging with
18 1/4 aerial victories to become one of America's leading aces. |

Mahogany and comes fully assembled with removable desk stand. |
